A Blend of Law & Holistic Wellness

I earned my B.A. in Humanities, Science, and the Environment from Virginia Tech, where I focused on sustainable food systems. Later, I earned my J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law.

But long before The Healthy Divorce came to life, I was exploring wellness as a personal lifeline; studying yoga, functional movement, nutrition, emotional healing, and personal growth.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve earned my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification, completed 150+ hours of continuing education in Ayurveda and human anatomy, and trained in a variety of personal development and wellness frameworks.

I believe divorce can be a portal to transformation — a powerful opportunity to reclaim your voice, your values, and your vision for the future.

Why I Left Traditional Law

For several years, I practiced as a family law attorney. I saw firsthand how many women were navigating divorce without the emotional, financial, or nervous system support they needed — and how that often led to poor decisions, unnecessary legal fees, and prolonged conflict.

What hit me hardest was seeing kids caught in the crossfire of high-conflict divorces. It became painfully clear that the traditional legal system often escalates drama instead of resolving it — and that the only consistent winners are usually the attorneys.

That wasn’t the kind of work I could stand behind, and I knew there had to be a better way…

A Healthier, More Human Way to Divorce

That’s why I created The Healthy Divorce Method — a conscious, compassionate alternative to the old-school divorce process.

Divorce doesn’t have to be messy, traumatic, or soul-crushing.

It doesn’t have to drain your bank account or leave your life in ruins.

This isn’t just legal strategy. It’s nervous system work. It’s emotional resilience. It’s personal empowerment.

And it’s rooted in the belief that women deserve to move through divorce with clarity, confidence, and deep self-trust.
